For institutions

Life stories that bring people together

Residents tell, staff listen, relatives treasure the result. Storyvelle turns biographical work into printed life books – with the resident's own voice behind every QR code.

Start free for 30 days
  1. Add a resident and choose how the questions are asked: on site, by phone or as a voice message.
  2. Explain the consent form in the resident's language and document it – in person or with a signed form.
  3. Ask the question of the week on site and record on a tablet. Follow-up suggestions help to dig deeper.
  4. The stories become a life book with your logo in the imprint. Relatives can order more copies themselves.

Why institutions use Storyvelle

  • Identity and dignity

Remembering strengthens identity – especially with dementia. Stories give staff topics for conversation and a deeper understanding of the person.

  • Relatives feel close

Relatives read and listen to new stories, react and add photos – and receive a printed book that stays in the family.

  • Little effort for staff

The question of the week appears in a simple list. Ask it in person and record on a tablet – or let our phone interviewer call. Transcription and editing are automatic.

  • Privacy you can document

Consent is documented digitally (in conversation or with a signed form), data is hosted in the EU and processed under a data processing agreement.

Questions from institutions

Does it work for residents with dementia?

Yes, especially in early and middle stages. Questions about childhood and youth are often answered vividly. Staff decide which questions to ask and can skip any question.

Who gives consent if a resident cannot?

Their legal representative. You document who agreed and upload the signed form. Consent can be withdrawn at any time.

Which devices do we need?

Any tablet or smartphone with a modern browser. Nothing to install. Phone interviews work with any phone in the resident's room.

Who owns the stories?

The resident and their family. Relatives can download everything at any time; after the end of the contract we delete the data on your instruction.

Create your institution account

Create your account in two minutes. The first 30 days are free, no credit card needed – afterwards one invoice a month for the residents who take part.
